Endpapers are the very first and very last two pages of your book; one side of which is fixed directly to the front and back cover. We have a range of 15 endpaper colours to choose from to either compliment or contrast with your cover and/or images. Here we will add your branding or client logo for extra detail.
While the majority of our endpapers are a solid block colour, we do offer Polished Pearl, Golden Sand and Grey Quartz which contain a hint of sparkle.
Please note: Swatch images are for illustrative purposes only and should not be used as an accurate colour reference.

Paper & Print
The reason fine art paper is essential to our premium books is because the matte finish allows for high-definition printing. The reason our customers love our Fine Art albums is because we do not compromise on quality across the board.
Paper quality is key. One of the most striking differences between our fine art book and your standard online book printer, is in the paper.
The supply of high quality fine art paper is so important. Its has been specially created to last hundreds of years. Unfortunately high street prints aren’t made to last and may start to yellow within 10 years or less.
The fine art paper in these albums is completely matt meaning reflected lights won’t glare off the page allowing you to enjoy the high quality print without restriction.
Ink
The importance of ink on the absolute best paper is key to the perfect finish. There are two types of ink used to print photo books; dye ink and pigment ink. Dye inks work by staining the paper which over time will bleach. This results in the image fading or changing colour. If you have old photos you may have noticed this. Unless stated otherwise, high street printers will use the cheaper dye based ink.
The Workshop offers pigmented inks which are literally, microscopic particles of pigment. The oil paintings you see hung in museums are created using pigment ink. This ink is more expensive but is archival and creates a beautiful result. The workshop also uses a 12 ink system which creates an almost perfect representation of your image. High street printers only use 4, so you may see dramatic changes in colour tone.
Inkjet is at the forefront of print innovation and achieves amazing quality. The team offer a benchmark for colour accuracy and print quality.
Sizes
Fine Art business books are available in the classic square formats of 12x12”, 10x10”, 8x8” and 6x6”. Alternatively, if you require a landscape book, you can choose the A4 format.
Presentation
As standard, all Fine Art Books come in a Kraft cardboard box and are presented inside a natural cotton bag. For extra impact, you can upgrade to a beautiful Clamshell protective box.
The popular Clamshell Boxes take their name from an old book-binding technique and can be ordered as an upgrade for the Fine Art Books.
The boxes have a nice structural flow with a hinged lid connected to the base. Board made by a Dutch company with top eco-credentials and encase it in any of our pure Essential Cottons or Heritage fabrics.
As well as having a choice of colour, the box comes with a soft-close magnetic clasp. Further personalisation with foil blocking, printing or engraving on the Clamshell boxes is available.
Mini Duplicate Brand Books
Small but perfectly formed, the 6x6” Mini Duplicate Brand books are available as direct copies, perfect for around the office, reception area or as part of a tender.
Mini Duplicates are discounted. They are available in any of our materials, with Pastel Fabric, Bold Fabric, Essential Cotton and Heritage being the most popular.
Personalisation
Small details really can mean the most, which is why the workshop expanded the personalisation techniques to offer greater flexibility without compromising on quality.
Add branding, a client logo, name & dates? The techniques for covers and boxes include time-honoured methods such as debossing and foiling, through to modern laser engraving and state-of-the-art printing.
